For your better understanding to an 'enlightening' blog: The New MableTV: Karma
Karma: The cause and effect. Buddhists believe in the nature of karma: you reap what you sow. Everything in life has an effect to an action. You grow flowers, you get flowers; you throw shit, you get shit.
Samsara: The vicious cycle of Life. Where there is life, there is death. And where is death, there is birth. Again, in Buddhist context, there is no end to Life - no heaven or hell - only rebirth. So it's pretty important to what we do in this life. The more shitty Karma we accumulate, the longer we stay in Samsara to clean it up.
Mara: Often disguised as the Devil. It's a metaphor used to describe our greed, anger, hatred, fear. It's what stopping us from being smarter or 'enlightened'.
Stream Winner: A non-returner. A little more technical this. From what I know, there are 31 realms of existence (thanks google) in Buddhist beliefs. Uhm, in the laws of Buddhism, once you hit a certain level - not unlike a computer game - you won't have to go back into the lower levels to fight ugly monsters and demons in hell. Once you're a smart little SW, all you need to concentrate on moving up the Buddhist ladder.
